The Books for Africa Library Project's
Mission Goals for 2012

1. Complete shipment of a container with over 34,000 books to Ghana in the fall of 2011.
   
   
2. Set up four new libraries in Ghana during the early months of 2012.
   
   
3. Hold the 12^th annual in-service for libraries in January 2012.
   
   
4. Accept the first residents in the recovery house for alcoholics and drug addicts in Kukurantumi.
   
   
5. Help the recovery house in Kukurantumi apply for acceptance as part of Oxford Houses International.
   
   
6. Continue to encourage the establishment of AA and Al-Anon groups in Ghana.
   
   
7. Continue to teach librarians how to manage reading clubs and conduct reading contests for the purpose of increasing library patronage.
