IT'S TEAM WORK

We have no office, and no paid staff in the USA. It is all volunteer work. We need prayer support and donations to keep up the ministry in Ghana.

Part of our mission is to give Americans the awareness of life in Ghana, where the children in rural areas do not have the educational opportunities that Americans have. A library with over a thousand children's books is a big start.

There are 8 major languages in Ghana, but English is the language of the educational system. The children need books in order to practice their reading skills and learn more about the world.

Your monetary donation will help these libraries serve the children.

Our mission started when Hilda Bromley was visiting a library only four months after the removal of a brain tumor. She clearly heard a call from God, "Go build me a library!" Hilda is from Ghana, and to her the call meant to build the library in Kukurantumi, Ghana, her hometown.

Our Mission

Hilda and Kirt returned from Ghana March 29, 2017. We visited 7 libraries, and set up our 63rd new library. We held our annual in-service for librarians, and distributed $2,200 worth of books to them. We distributed eyeglasses in Kukurantumi. We are distributing information about alcoholism.:

Children love books!

Founder and Manager of Books For Africa Library Project

Since 1997, Books For Africa Library Project has set up 63 libraries in remote towns of Ghana, West Africa. Now we are re-visiting the libraries to donate African books and train and help the librarians. Give a donation and make sure the children have a place to go and read.
