Loading Day                                                                   Back

With the help of many generous people we were able to collect and ship over 33,000 books by loading day. Each book was catalogued by Dewey Decimal number and boxed. Complementing these books were donations of clothing, medical supplies, an electrical generator, some furniture and over 300 pairs of eyeglasses. Volunteers from High Street Christian Church, Truly Reaching You Ministries, Knights of Columbus, area high schools and local community members worked together on Saturday morning September 22nd to fill a forty foot container full of the donated items.
