Timeline for Milestones
May through September 2007 Hilda and Kirt will collect books for new libraries. Volunteers are needed to help label the books with Dewey Decimal numbers. Call if you are free; the work is on-going.

September 22nd 2007 ship container of books to the port of Tema, Ghana

 
November
On October 23rd Kirt and Hilda fly to Ghana. Once there they will be arranging to pick up the container of books from the port
 
December
By the first week of December the books should have been sent from the port to the warehouse in Kukurantumi.
December 2nd and 3rd weeks in Ghana: the books will be re-boxed so that all books with the same Dewey decimal number will be in the same box. Thus they will be ready when the libraries pick them up. In-service for four towns to receive the donations for 2008.
January
12th:  in-service for librarians and Board members of all 37 existing libraries and the 4 new libraries.
February and March and April : the Library Project will set up books in four rural communities in Ghana.

April 2008: Kirt and Hilda return to Akron to collect books for the next trip to Ghana in the fall of 2008
